Hello Barrington Gardeners,

We've got a lot to do in the garden, starting with the vegetable garden. We've got to prepare the soil for new growth in the spring, so I'll be planting a cover crop (a.k.a. living mulch) within the next couple of weeks. Read all about these beneficial crops:

If you'd like to get your classes out to remove spent veggies now would be a good time to do it. Compost what you can and leave the rest by the edge of the garden.

Thanks for all your help and support,
Kate (Jasper's mom)
